Monday, September 13 B day 2-4-6-8

Hoʻomākaukau: bell ringer, Makaʻala moment, just read/just write/just share – people in your neighborhood – author’s chair, vocab. tree (on edmodo)

Haʻawina: guided writing group (plans are up in the air depending on what the drafts look like); start extended metaphor poems (again, depends), typing Hawaiian 101.

Haʻawina hoʻihoʻi: Heluhelu – next reading log check on Wednesday (the two weeks should equal 200 minutes), bring SSR book on Wednesday; vocab. tree due on the last day of the week to edmodo; stay -tuned during class on status of Hokuleʻa drafts

Tuesday 9/14 A day 1-5-7-3

Haʻawina: extended metaphor poems stanza 2 & 3 (again, depends), editing conferences

Haʻawina hoʻihoʻi: heluhelu (next SSR, reading log check day on Monday 9/20) – stay -tuned during class on status of Hokuleʻa drafts, extended metaphor poem draft – bring in for next class

Friday 9/17 C day 3-7-5-1

Haʻawina: extended metaphor poems stanza 2 & 3 (again, depends), editing conferences
